Review: Softly Spoken Lies

Softly Spoken Lies (Moonlight Breed, #4)Softly Spoken Lies by Gabrielle Evans

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book most out of all the others in the series. I wanted to kick Blaise in the head a few times, but hey he was in a stressful situation. Cole was a little more level headed although he had his moments too. Willow I just loved from the start. Overall, I was happy with this book and look forward to more.

Review: Whispers in the Night

Whispers in the Night (Moonlight Breed, #3)Whispers in the Night by Gabrielle Evans

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was already half in love with Jackson's character and this book just cemented things for me. Talon, I just wanted to kick in the head a couple of times and tell him to get over himself, but in the end you really understand his reasoning for doing the things he did. Once again Braxton and Keeton are up to their usual antics but it always ended well. They had good reasons for doing what they did and it actually helped Talon open his eyes to things he needed to see. I am really looking forward to what happens with Boston, but we have to get through Blaise and his story first.

Review: Reckless

Reckless (Southwestern Shifters #3)Reckless by Bailey Bradford

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I did find the story line lacking. I really liked the other two books in the series, but for me this story wasn't as believable as the others. I know this is a fantasy world book, but there are certain things that just can't be faked no matter how much strength a paranormal is supposed have. I really like this series, but this one was kind of out there even for me.

Review: Relentless

Relentless (Southwestern Shifters, #2)Relentless by Bailey Bradford

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I laughed so much in this book. Zane and Aidan make an interesting pair, but in a good way. I felt that I could understand Zane's reactions in this one because of his history with Mika from the first book, but in running it only means Aidan has to work a little harder at what he already knows he is going to end up with. Aidan understanding of the situation once everything comes out is a plus in his character. Gabe and Mika are in this one too and I have to say Gabe's antics had me laughing to the point that I could no longer read this book at night in the same room as anyone else.....I mean it was to the point that I had to make sure not to even look at this book when it was night time. I really enjoyed this book!

Review: Rescued

Rescued (Southwestern Shifters, #1)Rescued by Bailey Bradford

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Gabriel and Mika are so well matched that it made it to read this book. Gabe was a character and yet he had his moments when you just wanted to cuff the back of his head and say "Really, seriously. You didn't just go there.", but they were moments that could be forgiven right away when he either did or said something that made it all make sense. Mika was the ever strong alpha of the two. His acceptance of his mate was what made you really like the guy. It seemed nothing Gabe did could be wrong in his eyes and that is what love should really be about. People who can be together and not get flustered at the little things about the people they love.

Review: Touch Me Gently

Touch Me GentlyTouch Me Gently by J.R. Loveless

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have to say this was a really good read. I laughed and cried with this one. The things that Kaden went through and he still had strength was inspiring. I related to him on a lot of levels. Logan is a good man and has what Kaden needs to get him past his abuse and horror. He is more patient then most men would have been and gives Kaden the support he so desperately needs. I fell in love with both these characters and found that this was a book worth reading again and again.

Review: By the Light of the Moon

By the Light of the Moon (Moonlight Breed, #2)By the Light of the Moon by Gabrielle Evans

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved Keeton and Logan in this. Keeton and Braxton's antics are hilarious in this. I found myself laughing out loud a lot and I love books that can do that. Keeton wasn't just some weak sounding guy. He had his strengths and made sure that Logan knew about them. Logan was a good pairing for him.

Have to say this was not what I expected and I was seriously disappointed in this book. I found it boring and it took me forever to read through it.

Review: Dark Devotion

Dark Devotion (Fatefully Yours, #1)Dark Devotion by Gabrielle Evans

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I actually really enjoyed this book. I was sure how it would all play out with 8 men (I mean really, talk about a train), but it didn't turn out to be anything like that. I was pleasantly surprised. I look forward to the rest of the series.

Review: Alpha Born

Alpha Born (True Blood Mate, #2)Alpha Born by Stormy Glenn

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I wasn't thrilled with the changing of one of the main character's name "just because it was hard to pronounce". I mean if you are supposed to be changing with the times, wouldn't that be a part of it? I'm just sayin'. As for the overall book itself it was a good read. Knowing that what happens to the villains in this book is poetic justice.

Review: When the Bluebird Calls

Leap of Faith (Moonlight Breed, #1)Leap of Faith by Gabrielle Evans

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved Braxton and Xander. They fit so well together yet are very different. The fact that Braxton already knew about shifters actually helped in this book. It made it easier on him and his decisions. I have to say I was a little upset with how he handled things, but I could also see why he reacted that way. I found myself laughing out loud at times. I really enjoyed this read and it was a great start to the series.

Kelan's Pursuit (Shifters' Haven, #3)Kelan's Pursuit by Lavinia Lewis

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

There is strong willed and there is just plain assholes. Jake was a cross between the two. In the beginning he was the biggest ass you could ever come across. After meeting Kelan he slowly began to change for the better. Jake actually turned into a strong willed person with the knowledge of his past and realizing how much of an ass he was. I have to say that he is not someone I thought I would see Kelan with, but alas I am not the one who wrote the book. I can understand on some level what Ms. Lewis was thinking and why she went this route for the two characters. All in all I was pleased with how it went. Looking forward to the next knowing what Cary has gone through, and knowing who he is destined for in the future. Should be an interesting read.

Review: Heart Song

Heart Song (True Blood Mate, #1)Heart Song by Stormy Glenn

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really felt this was a good start to the series. The dynamics among the clan and the alpha are good to watch play out. Poor Darren goes from thinking he is crazy(hearing a voice in his head) to being bombarded with information about the supernatural so quickly that it is a wonder he really does fall off the funny farm wagon. Ash did go about the whole mate thing wrong, but then again I could understand his concerns. All in all going through everything they go through is worth it in the end.

Myth & Mischief (Midnight Matings, #5)Myth & Mischief by Gabrielle Evans

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a sweet story. The two couldn't be more different yet they were perfect for each other. Colton and Sly were complete opposites, but when the two came together and just excepted who the other was the love that grew between was easy to see. Sly being an easily excitable person and Colton being a laid back kind of guy fit well. I loved the dynamics between the two.

Fang & Fur (Midnight Matings, #6)Fang & Fur by Stormy Glenn

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sterling has had it with the job he is supposed to do, so when he mates with Beau his hopes of not having to do that job is quickly ruined when he finds out that not only is Beau straight, but engaged as well, his dreams dies quickly. Leaving Beau in the middle of no where while he returns home to New York, Sterling is in for a big surprise. Beau showing up to claim him and bring him back home with him is something Sterling didn't think to imagine. Though they go through an awkward stage they soon find they can have love in each other. They only have to fight against a psycho Vampire coven leader and a crazy wolf shifting ex-girlfriend, but in the end it is worth it. I have to say this series is really starting to get under my skin in a good way.

Two Fangs & A Hoof (Midnight Matings, #4)Two Fangs & A Hoof by Joyee Flynn

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I liked the story, but I didn't like that we only saw one point of view. It would have been nice to know what the other two characters were thinking through out the book. The beginning was a little much for me, but when you continue on it is an important part of the story. I plan on continuing to read the rest of the series.

Review: Joshua's Law

Joshua's Law (Brac Pack, #18)Joshua's Law by Lynn Hagen

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lynn Hagen has done it again! I love, love, love this series. We finally got to see what happens when someone is changed into a vampire. I so wanted to belt Josh and Taylor's mother over the head with a brick by the end of this book. I felt Josh's reaction in this book were very real and I could relate to him on so many levels. Once again I look forward to the next one!

Review: A Hunter's Desires

A Hunter's Desires (Tri-Omega Mates, #6)A Hunter's Desires by Stormy Glenn

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reading this was a pleasure. You got to see one mate struggle with what he thought he want to what he really wanted down deep inside, and you got to see another mate come to terms with who he really is. Vaska basically helped them all threw it, and the good thing was there was all the tears being shed. The other books were mushy like that, but this one would have been way off to through any of these hardstrong men if tearing up every five minutes. It was a good change for the series. I look forward to the other Ms. Glenn has in store for us.

Secret Desires (Tri-Omega Mates, #1)Secret Desires by Stormy Glenn

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am really liking this series. It focuses more on the human side of things while still holding the element of shapeshifters. I love the shapeshifter books that I read, but this series gives you more on the human side and I like that.

Review: Montana's Vamp

Montana's Vamp (Brac Pack, #16)Montana's Vamp by Lynn Hagen

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Allthough, we still don't hear too much about what is happening with Heaven and what is going on in his pregnancy (I thought it would have helped in Gabby's thought procress of knowing he wouldn't would be the only one. I digress it seems.....I love that these two come together and get past the issues really fast. Montana being the biggest problem to over come. I must say I was proud the he didn't stick his head up his ass like most would and took on the responsibility very well. Gabby needed the love and support and he got in spades with Montana.......I am soooooooooo looking forward to the next one and hopefully seeing Tryck put on his ass....lol

Review: Heaven's Hell

Heaven's Hell (Brac Pack, #13)Heaven's Hell by Lynn Hagen

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I liked the way this book goes. It is more believable in the experimentation of a man having a baby. Heaven is the perfect mate for Murdock. Heaven is the type of person who just pulls at your heart strings, and manages to put Murdock in his place. Good for him. Murdock wasn't doing himself any favors living as he was. Heaven changed all that and you saw the real side of Murdock and some actual human emotions when it comes to the unknown for him.

Scales and a Tail (Midnight Matings, #2)Scales and a Tail by Stormy Glenn

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I read all three stories the day they came out, and I have to say they were worth the wait for them. In this story Stormy Glenn gives us a look at two men who are complete opposites but come together very well. Sebastian and Beauregard struggle, but in the end find happiness. I love this sweet story of these two men. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Review: Cody's Revelation

Cody's Revelation (Shifter's Haven, #2)Cody's Revelation by Lavinia Lewis

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cody's Revelation was one of the most touching stories I have read. In the beginning I thought I was going to ring Stefan's neck when I found out he was married and had a son, but when the story unfolds and you learn the truth of what happened it made me fall for him even more. To know that he sacrificed so much of his life for his family was touching. Cody's understanding of it all makes you feel even more endeared to him. These two fighting for what they know is theirs is a struggle worth getting through. I love this series so far and can't wait to see what Ms. Lewis has in store for us with the others. I look forward to them all.
